do you have a workout plan for someone who is trying to gain 60-100 pounds of muscle and lose 30-60 pounds of fat at the same time. Im trying to get between 255-295 lbs. with less than 10% body fat. PS, I take protein powder and creatine and am 23 years old.

THIS GUY IS WRONG, im not arguing for the sake of making myself sound like i know more than this guy, but i can tell you. It is very very easy to gain muscle and loose fat , in fact the more muscle you gain the more it increase your metabolism and allows you to burn fat, so do your research before you listen to this idiot.
You probably need to lose about 10-15 lbs of bodyfat. Bodyfat is volumous.10lbs of fat is bigger then a bowling ball. To lose 10 lbs of fat you need to slowly overtime cut 35,000 calories from your diet. 1 lb. of fat = 3500 cals. Do 1 hard HIIT cardio per week. Add some nice 30-60 minute walks a few times a week. Make slight calorie cuts here and there. Cut protein powder calories for sure, you don’t need that much of that or really that much protein in general. You’ll get continually leaner.
If you do a less intense cardio a few times a week,..OR intense HIIT cardio ONCE a week, that is more then enough. It will burn calories and make your body a more effficient fat burner. WALKING! Walking burns about 250-300 calories per hour, but will NOT break down muscle tissue because it’s not intense enough. Cut your calories SLIGHTLY. Don’t forget about beer calories,..they’ll make you fat too. You don’t need that much protein. Don’t consume too much protein powder; it’s just X-calories.
Flush, bodybuilders of ALL body types..Ectomorph or any other body type can lose fat and gain muscle. People are getting a little to wrapped up in the whole ecto/endomorph..whatever. You have bulked up because of your intense weight training over the last year. That is EXCELLENT! You have a great muscle base. When you lose the fat, and it’s not that hard to do, you’re going to look phenomenal. Cardio does NOT kill muscle mass. OVERDOING cardio over time will overtrain and break down muscle mass.
ok can anyone help me, i train at the gym 4 times a week, but do abs at home. I have bulked consiserably over the last year. I do not do any cardio in my work
out because i am a ectormorph and alot of people said that cardio kills bulk etc etc. However i have alot of stomach fat now after a year of bodybuilding!!!
How could i loose that?
1. eating les calories? but keeping the same amount of protein
2. interval training vs cardio?
ps.( i weigh 70kg, 172cm tall, i eat 6 small meals a day)
mon- chest
tues- legs
wed- triceps/back
thurs- break
friday- biceps/shoulder
sunday- abs

well.. the body sets priorities. if it doesn’t get enough food, it should synthesize the protein you need for muscle build-up into sugars to feed itself… shouldn’t it?

I understand his thoughts, but yes…you can build some muscle as you lose fat. I do it all the time. BUT,…it’s kind of hard to do,..but it is possible.

in 6 months lost more than 45 pounds
and now i got 13% of fat!
BLaaH and and all i do is warming up 10 minutes at the tradmil.. then doing wegihts for 1 hour
and then 20 minutes of hard cardio..
so STFU .. you can build muscale and lose FATS

I would say Brad Pitt is an exception. He is always lookin thin, but in “Troya” he builded quiet a lot muscles without gaining a lot of fat. But i’m sure that there was some meds helping him with that!!
I think theres alot of speculation on weather or not you can gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. How you build the most amount of muscle is, eat the right amount of calories, protein, carbs, and healthy fats….but to build the most muscle possible, you have to eat more than your body burns off during a workout. So, unless you just want to gain a small amount of muscle, and lose fat at the same time, you have to make sure you get enough protein while doing a mix of cardio, and lifting.

I thought you could lose fat and build muscle at the same time. Can’t you work out and sweat while doing it, your heart pumping faster… Therefore you’re building muscle and losing fat at the same time? Some please tell me.
wtf? you can build muscle and loose fat at same time..this guy is bullshiting ! listen up, if you maximize your muscularity and minimized your body fat too much then your gonna having to go for either loosing fat or builing muscle its really hard to do both…but if your beginer or intermediate then definely you can do both at same time!!
